Miami, FL - Slip N Slide Records, a leading record label in the urban music business, is set forth to release Georgia hip-hop artist Swazy’s single “Too Many” worldwide. The record, to be released Tuesday, February 11th is produced by veteran Grand Hustle signee Stroud.
Hailing from South Georgia, Swazy has been a constant face on the hip-hop scene in Atlanta and the surrounding markets. Formerly known as Swazy Baby, he has had numerous songs that have gotten national radio play as well as heavy club rotation. Swazy’s focus has been to “bang out the hits” and create good quality rap music that individuals can appreciate for years to come. “As a rapper from the ghetto, I don’t want to highlight my struggles and upbringings…like other rappers instead I want to rap about working towards the future and showing communities around the world that if you work hard at something, good things will come to you” I am the voice of the hood, I am here to inspire.”
Swazy draws inspiration from rappers such as Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and more. He credits all the musical legends that came before him. "I respect all art. In fact, they all fall under one category if you ask me…poetry. It's all pure poetry in different forms."
Swazy is the latest priority on Slip N Slide Records’ roster, which includes new R&B sensation Sebastian Mikael and veteran Miami rapper Plies.
