What is Real Teamwork

As a student I never liked being partnered up and working in teams. I always found myself in a leadership role and always did more work than I should have to begin with. I quickly realized though that there is a positive side to working with people. When working in teams you feed off each other and are able to see things from another person’s point-of-view. We are not able to have thoughts from every perspective and to catch all of our mistakes that is when the team comes into play. Team members must be dedicated, they must see and understand the vision, and believe in the result; if not they will not work hard and keep up with their load. If you have a team that is not with you 100%, walk away from them and do not be upset if they walk away from you. A team is important, but only when they fit the vision and work with you and that is hard to find.
